Hey everybody

This is my first post. I'm in Memphis Tenn. I currently have two ongoing projects, a numbers matching 1967 442 convertible and a numbers matching 1964 Dynamic 88 2 door. I would like any information y'all can give me on the transmission that's in the 88. It has the 394 engine. Thanks, Phil

Welcome aboard Sounds like a great stable of cars you have there. Probably going to catch a little flack about the #'s matching deal but I know what you mean by it The 88 probably has a 2-speed Jetaway I believe.

It's not a 2-speed Jetaway. That was the transmission in the Jetstar 88 and in the Cutlasses and F-85s. For '64, the other 88s, 98, and Starfire had a three-speed automatic called the Roto Hydramatic, more colloquially known as the Slim Jim.
