Helping my Dad restore his 61 Dynamic 88

Brand new needing some help

Trying to find what type transmision fluid it needs. Dexron is my guess.

Thanks!

It has been sitting in his garage for over 12 years along with a 1941 Cadillac.

I decided I need to get these out and on the road again.

The 61 olds needs a new fuel pump. I just got the old one out tonight and hopefully will get the new one in tomorrow. I will try to get pics tomorrow also.

Welcome aboard.

I will be surprised if you find a fuel pump for a 61 without special ordering it,I could be wrong but in my area they are not found on the shelf at any of the auto parts stores I use. Don't throw the old one away you may need to have it rebuilt or as a trade in core exchange.

O'Reilly has some high mileage Dexron in their label transmission fluid. I doubt it is much diefferent but I use it in my 54.
