help with weatherstripping

I am in the process of installing weatherstripping in my 1967 olds cutlass sports coupe. i would like to know what kind of seal does the vent window assembly get? I don't know if it is supposed to be the window channel weatherstripping or a layer of strip caulk? any help is appreciated, thanks in advance: John Read

The vent window on the doors uses a rubber seal. There are other vendors besides the link I provided.

thank you for the reply! what i was trying to say is, once the finished vent window assembly is being attached to the door frame, what kind of weatherstripping is used to make the seal between the vent assembly and door channel? I know there was something there because i remembered cleaning the mating surface, but it was 5 years ago, thanks again.

If your meaning on the reassembly of the vent window to the door, I am unsure as I have not removed mine yet. I bet you can use something like 3m rope caulk, or something like that.
