Hello from WI

Hello, new guy with a '72 Cutlass S. I bought the car last summer as my first project. It has good running Rocket 350 with TH350. As far as I have been able to determine it is the original motor, although some where along the line someone painted it orange.

I was told when I bought it that is did have AC, but was removed. It also has front disc brakes, but I don't know if they are original.

The frame is solid, but it does need some body work. It had a new floor install in it by the previous owner, but will need some work to fix rust in the trunk, rear quarters, front fenders, and passenger door.

I haven't done anything major with it since buying it other than tracking down a hood and re-installing the bench seat. I have also started fixing the rust on the front fenders and I will hopefully be able to make some progress this spring.

Welcome to the site! There's quite a few members with cars similar to yours. As you go through the process of working on it feel free to post any questions that come up. John

Congrats. That thing will look awesome when she's done. Good for us that repop parts are available for those cars.

Yeah I can't argue that it doesn't have plenty of rust. Fortunately for me I have friends and family that are knowledgeable, capable and willing to help me out.
