Hello from Utah

Hey guys, I'm Josh and just dropping in to introduce myself..

I just took delivery of this 1970 442 clone on Monday. It's a bit rough around the edges but should be a sweetheart when I'm done with it. The previous owner made a half assed attempt at putting together a clone, my plan is to go more of a resto-mod path that will serve as a street legal(barely) weekend warrior.

Nice car
Thanks!

Sounds like a plan, I probably won't register it until spring. Over the winter I'll be addressing the brake system, suspension/steering, gearing and a limited slip. After that's all taken care of I'll just enjoy the car for a year or so before I drop in my 425 and do a fiberglass front end...still toying with the idea of back-halfing the chassis.

It came out of a '66 Dynamic 88, so it's the 45* lifter bank engine. A local had this up for sale a few weeks ago for an insane price, I took a shot & picked it up for pretty cheap. I've got it tore down and am working on a parts list for it now.

Hey Alek, It will be pretty much a hot street/drag car with more emphasis on the drag part.
