Hello everyone!

I've lurked on these forums for years. I finally signed up to hunt down a part I need.

I have a '68 S convertible that I love. Not originally mine but I've poured a lot of TLC into her over the years in the on-going foolish effort to make her as close to her original beauty as possible, while living with the continued dread that one day some moron might crash into her (hopefully not).

Anyway, just saying hello and thanks for having me!

Sure! Here's a couple. These are two years old as the block has been out of her for over a year being rebuilt.
Hope no one minds me blurring the plate.

Don't mind at all, but I'm kinda wondering what good it does. Anybody can take a picture of the plate anytime you're out in public.

Gorgeous car, though. Welcome.

Beautiful! I’m partial to the 68 Cutlass Convertible’s because it was my first car.

Thank you everyone!
The Cutlass is definitely tried and true. But I really connected with the body on the '68.
'66 & '67 were getting there but '68 nailed it IMO. And I haven't bothered to do the research on why the front end changed with '69, but my heart was with the '68.
Not that the other models aren't awesome!

You can call it a study in futility.
What you're saying is definitely correct. And I'm not concerned with anyone here. My fear (even if it's unfounded) is based in not wanting to give up any more personal info than I need to online that can be gathered by scammers and bots. Again, probably pointless like you said. But it gives me further peace of mind, even if it's an illusion.

Fair enough. I do a few of those myself.
