Hello everyone

Incorrect seat covers but the kids don't mind...

1964 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible

Hi everyone.I just picked up my first Olds a few days ago. I've always loved the cars just never had the opportunity to own one. It's a 1964 Starfire Convertible. So far the kids love it, and that is primarily why I purchased it, family cruising. I'm sure l'll be doing lots of digging through the forums in days to come.

Welcome to the group... Very sharp looking 64 Starfire... Now two questions - First, how are you going to keep that very white interior clean with the little ones, and second, does your 64 have rear seat belts for the little ones and their car seats... Enjoy your new ride, It definitely looks like the little ones will...

I have installed rear seat belts, and the cleanliness factor is a mountain I'll just have to climb. Lol

Welcome. Pretty car, but needs nice hub caps. Try Pledge and a cloth on the seats. They will be slippery, but they will look good.

Nice colors.
I like the dual exhaust side pipes.

Hello, and welcome. Sweet looking car. I am new to the forum myself. I also bought my first oldsmobile and plan to cruise it with my family.

For now, I have some poverty caps coming, to try and keep the white accented. I may go to full caps. I have one correct cap that came with the car and a set of 4 from '63 starfire. 2 of them have the centers cut out to accommodate the grease cap.

Honestly, I think the steelies are sharp and a definite departure from the ordinary. Maybe a set of stainless center caps and some chrome acorns. Just saw the skirts! Love it. Drive it with pride - only one in your town I'm guessing!

I think I'm going with these used poverty caps that came today. Dresses it up a bit but leaves the white of the wheel exposed. I believe I'll paint the olds embem and the inserts to match the Starfire emblem red.
