Hello from Detroit

Hello All,

My name is John. I live near Detroit & bought a 1971 442 convertible last September. I also have a 1996 Corvette & my son (19) has a 1997 Aurora. My first car was a 1968 Toronado.
The 442 is a nice driver quality car (semi-restored 10 years ago) that needs some TLC but can be used while we fix it up. I look forward to using the site & learning more about the car.

Wish I would have kept the Toro. It was way cool. Motor siezed while in college. Maybe I'll get another one day. The 442 is Viking Blue with Pearl interior. Decent enough shape but has lots of unnecessary audio equipment - soon to be removed! It was restored to look like a W-30, but is not a real W-30. I will post some pics soon. Thanks for the warm welcome!
