I would like to introduce myself to this fine site! I joined awhile ago but have yet to post and or anything. I have always loved the 1978-80 Cutlass. My first nice car was a 1979 Supreme with a 350 rocket/20 turbo. Did i love that car! i have had few after that one but have always wanted to restore one, even though i never tried to restore anything. Finally I got a 78 Supreme, within days of getting that I found a 80 Calais with T-Tops, so I got that. I took parts I wanted for my car and focused on my Calais. I hate the 80 nose so I took the 78 and installed it. I did a body off restore, replacing all bushings and repairing all mounts. I repaired the floor pan, shaved the marker lights and trunk lock and I am modding W-30 scoops for the head and reversing the ralleye rim scheme. I am putting a SBC 350 with a 400 turbo stage 3 tranny. I will eventually get a Rocket. This has been a major work in progress, finally i am seeing the light I have the entire car almost ready to go to paint!!! Will be posting pictures shortly. Would love feedback and advise from you all
