fender louvers on 66 442

hello everyone i`m new to CO. from Louisiana and just bought a 66 442 i think. the beginning numbers on the vin is 338176M. the car has all of the badges but no fender louvers. supposed to be all original body panels. the motor and transmission have been replaced. the car is to be shipped soon, i don`t have the cowl tag info. did all 66 442`s have the fender louvers? thanks for any help. I really enjoy the discussions here.

Yes, and there were holes in the fenders for them, with tabs that the louvers bolt to.

Then it's not a real 66 442. The 442 emblems were on the rear quarters that year. Since it's a Lansing car, the cowl tag will prove if it's real or not. Note that 1967 front fenders will bolt to a 66 and the 442 emblems ARE located on the front fenders that year.
