Hello

.. . Hello .. (echo) from Oregon, Rainy Roseburg, OR-gan. I am currently named Douglas while staying here in Douglas County,OR. I am the proud owner of a 1964 Old's F85/Cutlass 2dr Post sea-dan. I got this car basically dropped in my lap while trying to fix up my other project a caruck, and my 2nd '64 Chevelle El Camino. I got her 11/24/2018 (thanksgiving day) in disrepair, disassembled (some what a roller) and had been sitting in a garage for the previous 18+yrs as of 2018. I am now just getting paint and body work finished up and trying to put her back together again before next year's spring/summer season. the spec's as far as I know. was told by previous owner it's got a 66-'67 425ci (J heads, have a set of 'C' heads in reserve) .30 over flat tops, cam / rockers, HEI, Edelbrock Performer Olds 455 intake, a '68 396ci Q-Jet manual transmission/choke carb 7qt Moroso pan, ST300 2spd Jet away ? and new bushings, body mounts, trunk floor/rear window side, and trunk filler replaced, KYB's, PWR 4w drum brks, PS, 10bolt 2.73 or 2.56 ratio (previous owner didn't know) Engine was built in late 90's in Bullhead city,AZ machine shop, Thornton headers, the car is a 3227 model, 2dr Post sedan built in Fremont,CA and only 20mins from where I grew up since 1966 in east Bay area,CA. I'm just getting ready to try and fire her up soon and will post a video if I can. Any other owners of '64's here ? I might need a few little things and will be looking for some more info & items for my Old's... Mobile 'Lil Red Rocket of Love' Thx You,

Rev.Horton Heat for that one. Cheers, Douglas.

Looks like you shall have a nice cruiser Douglas, er Scott. There are quite a few members here with the 1964 and 1965 "A" body Oldsmobiles so don't hesitate to ask any questions that you may have. I see that you have been a member for several years now so a belated welcome aboard!
