Hello

Hi I just bought my third Oldsmobile 98. Had an 87 Regency Brougham, 89 Regency and now a nice 91 Regency Elite.

It has only 30 000 miles on it. Hardly winter driven (why it still exists) Salt in Ontario is brutal, the liquid brine they use eats cars up.

Appears to be factory ordered. Build in June 91 delivered in late June 91 to the 1st owner,

Has both F41 (heavy duty suspension) and FE3 (sport suspension)
A heated windshield, 140alt, aluminum rims, digital dash with the digital computer read outs and is the first year of the 4L60E in the C body.

It is a pleasure to drive. I have owned a 95 LeSabre in the past but this one blows it away in the ride and handling department

My wife loved her '93 until some idiot crashed into her on the 400. Enjoy yours when the weather settles down.

Welcome to the group... It's always good when you can fine a nice clean low mileage Oldsmobile, it helps to keep the Oldsmobile name alive for the future of the hobby...

I have found that there is a real sweat spot in the early 90s GM cars. Once Roger Smith was out as President, GM was able to throw some neat things at their cars again. Unfortunately his sever grip on the purse strings during his 10 year reign had done to much damage to stop the eventual demise of Oldsmobile and GM for that matter. The magazine writers of the day were really hard on the 91 Ninety Eight. I find the layout of the dash to be quite pleasant. With the 1SC and gauge package it is a pleasant driving experience. Oldsmobile had perfected the FWD ride and smooth highway driving in the 98. Unfortunately the advertising money was spent on the the sister car the Buick Park Avenue and not many Ninety Eights were produced.

Well at least some of us out there can appreciate what Oldsmobile was producing in that era. And man they are cheap!
