Greetings----hoping for your tolerance
Hate to admit it to you folks---but I tinker mostly with Chevys
Predominately ---ElCaminos & pick-ups
Have a 79 Chev C-10, that I bought new when I was still 18
59 ElCamino that finished a body off resto mod about 5 yrs ago.
66 ElCamino that is in the process of being re-assembled.
My friends at the body shop where I have the 59 & 66 worked on
have just about completed a real nice looking 69 Cutlass S convert
that was a complete basket case when it came to the shop.
To keep the labor rates low on my 66----+ covered parking privelges
I try to help in the shop where I can when I have the time.
There are some pretty obstinate electrical monsters in the 69 Cutlass
that I would like to get sorted for them.
Also thought this may be a good place to try to locate a moulding or 2
for this car.
Anyway----hi, and thanks for allowing me into your playpen.
Bryan

Chebbies???? Say it isn't so! Just kidding. Welcome to the site!
This is the best place to be to learn about Oldsmobiles! My guys on here are the absolute best - always willing to help out and answer questions.
Check out some of the forums - parts for sale etc... you may find what you're looking for.
We'll look at Chebbie pics too, if you have any to post!

Welcome to the site. There are a lot of knowledgeable and friendly people here. So if you have any questions, ask away!
A lot of people here tinker with other makes too (including myself), so I don't think you would catch any trouble here. Post pics of the Cutlass when you can. I like old El Caminos as well so you can throw a pic of them in too!

Hey----one of my pics showed up----cool
that is my 66 in the slow process of re-assy.
307/5spd, power discs, power windows and locks and Vintage AC & tilt.
See that 69 Cutlass drop top in the back----see it?? huh??
That is the car giving me grief right now.
It is all done, and I will get a pic of it up later-----probably much later as I have some serious work travel to do and will be gone from Saturday until the end of June, with only 2 days at home in between
So now I will try a couple of my 59------both the 59 and the 66 were body off frame projects.
59 ElCamino, 454HO/TKO 5spd/4whl power discs/power windows/AC/Tilt
The engine pics are outdated----the engine is now BRIGHT FORD BLUE (a whole new story) and is equipped with a GM serpentine belt system (tossed the AC belt one too many times)

Love the 59. Very tastefully done. Looks like it came that way and that is the way I like them. I don't care for big wheels with rubber band tires. Probably most of us here have had Chevy's and I still like them and think they are great cars. Welcome to the site and I hope we can help you.

Seems the "gullwing" cars are extremely popular down there..
The 59 Elky is a car I have wanted since I was about 10yo.
Finally got one on my 41st B-day------be 50 at the end of this month
The 59 took 5 yrs to get to looking like this.
