Greenhorn from OKC

My brother from another mother rktolds just got me a 68 cutlass S post coupe. It's my profile pic. I'm real excited to make a project of it and hope to learn in the process. Can't wait to see how sweet this thing looks in the next couple months!

It'll sit in the barn while we game plan and create some room in the shop for it. This car came while horse trading so I'm excited to pay it forward.

Welcome aboard.
Looks like it has some front end damage?? Post some big pics please? Small ones like that are sooo hard to see.

Whatever you guys do, DON'T forget it's out in the barn or in another 10 years we'll be seeing a 'barn fresh' 68 Cutlass CL ad. Owned by a little old lady who was in a crash and parked the car because she was now afraid to drive...original car....just needs restored...

Seriously - post some big pics and some thoughts on your plans for the car. It's really nice to see 2 'brothers' get and work on a project. Best of luck to you!

I have more pics I'll post later. I have most of the front end parts to straighten things out. It's exciting and my kids will be fired up that Uncle Charlie's car is at our house. Now they will get to see him more.

Sounds like a win win from everyone's point of view. Maybe the kids will also show some interest in the project?
