Gear selector

Just joined sight, how do you remove column gear selector on 72 cutlass? Drive pin out next to steering column. Thanks

Welcome. The best way to do jobs like this
is to get a chassis service manual, truly.

If you go to wild about cars.com you may be able
to find it. I have a hard time navigating that site,
but it is there somewhere, good luck and post some
pics of your ride.

If you plan to work on your car I agree, get signed up at wildaboutcars and if you want a hardcopy purchase the Chassis Service Manual for your year.

I'm not sure I follow your question though. Yes, you knock out the pin with a small punch and hammer, then you wiggle and pull the arm out. Were you looking for clarification or just wanted to make sure you were on the right track?
