74 Omega
Just pulled this girl out of the barn. I bought it in 1995 and drove it through high school and some college. It has been sitting for 15 years now . I am excited for the task at hand. I know it will be a long road but I hope that I will have a beauty when it is all said and done!
Any tips, advice?
I have a procedure for the engine start up, maybe I will get lucky and she will start. I understand mostly everything will need to be replaced, wish me luck !

Welcome.
I alway liked taking cracks
at the ones that have just been sitting.
Pull the plugs, clean and gap as needed.
I like to use Marvel M/oil in the plug holes
for a few days prior to spinning the engine over.
After using compressed air to blow the engine
compartment out. Check for chewed wires, make
sure the tranny reads way over full before spinning. I use
a good hot battery with the fuel pump to carb line going
into an old gallon milk jug from the fuel pump. You may have
to remove a steel line to do that though, I have a fitting I use
for a rubber line. When you spin it, you will be able to tell if you
have spark then. Not much left to do, replace plugs, fill the carb
bowl with fresh gas and then.... Good luck, sounds like fun.

Thanks guys! When it gets to Denver from my Dads place back in Missouri I will post some more pics. I think I will also start I build thread like oldcutlass suggested. By the way you guys have some pretty sweet rides. I spent most of the night last night looking over this site.

Neat.. Please do the thread, many will watch it and offer advice, etc. A lot of knowledgeable, helpful folks on here. Anything you aren't sure the best way to do there will be someone here that has done it before. Its also a lot of fun.
