I recently purchased a 1975 Delta 88 Royale convertible with the stock 350 engine. Can anyone tell me what the correct engine color should be and where I can find the paint? I was told the engine is painted the wrong color. Thanks.

1975 was close to when they changed over to "Corporate Blue" for all Divisions except Chebby, which got another year or two to use Orange before they had to change, but I am not sure whether the change was in '74, '75, or '76.

Regardless, an Olds 350 should never be GM Corporate Blue. It should be Olds Gold.

Sadly, 1975 was the year Olds changed to Corporate Blue.

 

Do you have any pics of the engine? What color is it presently painted?
