Dutchie with a 1964 F-85 2dr hardtop

Goodmorning.

I'm Jim and from the Netherlands.
i own a 64 2dr hardtop since a couple of weeks.
i found her trough a facebook comment (got a 64 for sale w/o drivetrain) and i was the only one who replied, i knew it was a cutlass but didnt know if it was a 4drs/post or a hardtop.
i wrote the guy a message and after a couple of weeks he replied to me.
after he sended me some pictures of the car i couldnt really tell if it was a post or a hardtop, so i made an appointment with him drove to him, the story goes he bought it in the mid/late eighties from a car dealer in the netherlands who had just imported the olds from sweden into the netherlands.
after he closed the deal, he took it apart and did some work on the car (it came with a 350/th400) lost interest in the project and more than 30 yrs later i came along a bought the car.
based on the window sticker from the lion drag strip i believe it was a cali car before it got shipped to sweden.
since the original 330 isnt available anymore and the previous owner took the 350 out, i'm going with a 350 i have laying around. (330's are hard to come by overhere).
the car has a posi-rear, i believe it used to be a manual speed car (they welded the hole with a piece of sheetmetal)
i do have some 442 badges with the car, dont know if it was a true one but anyhow i got myself a cool clean project to work on.

If that Demmer fender came with it, it would almost be a crime to paint over that history.

previous owner painted it himself, would be awesome if it was the original rectifier lol

Seems the fender he has is a rendering of the 64 and 65 Demmer cars....
