The last six digits of the VIN are simply the sequential serial number and don't "decode" to anything. The production sequence number is similarly a serial production sequence number for Fisher Body and also doesn't decode to anything.

Are you asking about the RPO option codes? If your real question is about the car being a real 442, it is. The VIN 9 motor was only used on 442s.

And unless the air cleaner snorkels are shooting at each other, that is a DUAL snorkel air cleaner...

Thumbs up cowl trim

thanks for the help joe, as soon as I do a few more things to my 442 I will post some pictures , hope I can put video on here so u and others can here the aluminum headed 461 that took the place of the 307 . I know some people would not take the original engine out , ( it takes the originality from it) . Yeah but I have owned this car for 10 years and the owner before me did not garage keep this car . I've cleaned it up done some metal work , remember the 1st owner didn't care how he treated it his cousin tried to start refurbish it .but I bought it for $800 . anyway a 500HP @ 600LBS of torque big block beats out a 170HP 245LBS. 307 any day.

I can't think of anyone who would complain about replacing a stock 307 with a 455.
