Camaro 67 I need information to be certain of what I have!

If anyone can kindly help me determine what exactly do I have. I believe its a 67 but need to know what was the original motor & color, since I am remodeling my car to its original status. I need all the help you can give me.

VIN #124377N194164

Thank you!

1= Chevrolet Division, General Motors Corp
24= V8 equipped Camaro (23 is 6-cylinder, and V8 in 1967 could be anything from a 283 to a 396)
37= 2-door notchback hardtop coupe
7= 1967 model year
N= Norwood OH assembly plant (Camaro & Firebird built here and VanNuys CA)
194164= vehicle sequential serial number

The original engine and color cannot be determined from the 1967 GM VIN sequence, except for V8 or 6-cylinder. The body data plate underhood will have the paint and trim codes.

And people think I only know Oldsmobiles...

There are any number of Camaro and F-body forums where you'd probably get more information than we can supply on this Oldsmobile forum, but I hope I've helped you some.

I'll tell you that you have a 4-speed with a console, but you really need to go to a Chevy/Camero forum. This is for Oldsmobiles!
