Another one from The Netherlands
Hello,
My name is Jaap and I live in The Netherlands. Since laste week I own a 1980 Delta 88. A former Diesel car who started its life as a Belgian cab. After that it was used for funeral services. Over here you usually saw them only in these kinds of commercial use because of the absurd taxes on 'heavy' (= heavier then a typical European small car) cars for private use. Still is unfortunately. But anyway, after that it was stored for 24 years and the previous owner bought it like that. He reannimated the car but the diesel engine kept on giving trouble so he swapped it with a Chevy 350.
It drives like a dream, all the dried out and worn out parts are recently done so hopefully I don't have to do a lot in the coming year(s) except for enjoying rides.
A few years back I owned a '74 Cutlass Supreme with a 403. Also had some Firebirds/Trans Ams ('92 V6 base / '87 305 base / '85 350 Trans Am) and recently a 1957 Renault 4CV, fits in the trunk of the Delta 88. But this Delta 88 must be the best riding one so far in terms of comfort.
Speaking of comfort, The back of the front seats dont tilt backwords, I can't find a **** or button (non-power seats), anyone know how I can adjust that? I'm sitting pretty straight up, a little too much for my back. Thanks!

1980's Olds did have power reclining seat backs for four door cars. All my Regency's had that option. The control lever is on the side of the seat, to the rear.
