After over a decade without a classic car, I'm back!!!
Hello from Tennesseee! It's been almost 18 years since I sold my last classic car. I've been working as a touring musician and that particular career didn't leave much in the way of time or money for projects. But since the 'rona evaporated the entertainment industry, I went back to my old job doing cabinet work. As a result I found myself with some free time, and just a little money that I could use to get back into a car. After weeks of scouring the classifieds, craigslist and FB Marketplace I settled on a 63 Dynamic 88 four door. It's a pretty solid car with a good sounding motor. Definitely a good foundation to build a cool cruiser for me and the family. I'm really stoked that I found this forum, and I'll try not to annoy y'all too much with questions. I've almost always built chevys, so building an Olds is gonna be a new adventure!
My goal is a mild custom (think bellflower) . First order of business is brakes. Want to put in a new booster and dual master cylinder, and then rebuild/refresh everything at the wheels. Any suggestions for a booster/MC kit would be appreciated!
