87 Cutlass 442 dilemma
Glad to be here, lots of info on this site
My dilemma is what to do with my 87 Cutlass, since I don't have time or a shop to restore it.
Really don't want it ending up in the crusher.
Any ideas?

Welcome!
My favourite Olds was my '84 Cutlass Salon. If that's your property, for around 200 bucks you can get yourself a big canopy at costco, seal it up well, run an extention cord out to it and there you have it - Instant garage.
Don't get rid of it. You'll regret it.

The 87 is really the last full year of RWD Cutlass production, so it's a noteworthy car. It also has a unique front end that's different from everything prior (81-86). 1988 production of RWD is rumored to be from 'leftover' stock of these bodies. About 4 months into 1988 production the Cutlass switched over to the new FWD W body cars.
I see you're an HD Mechanic so this car should present no problem to you. I also would suggest a temporary storage to keep it out of the elements till you do find time for it. Definitely isolate it from weeds and grass growing under it - that'll kill the frame and bottom sheet metal faster than anything.
Love the color. I saw in another thread you're looking at a 403? Is that to drop in this car? On a sad note, if you can't keep the car you might want to list it here in the For Sale section. Got any more pictures of the beast?
