'83 98 Trunk Seal and other parts needed

I have a 1983 Oldsmobile 98 that I am having trouble finding a few parts for. Apparantly it needs to be a little older to make my search a bit easier lol. I am looking for a factory replacement seal for the trunk. I am not sure where to look to find it.

I believe you can buy it in lengths from steelerubber.com

You will have to pull your old one and measure the exact length. Give em' a call.

Just run a tape measure around it and round up to the next foot. Beats pulling it now...

Good idea.
Don't forget the adhesive cleaner, and new adhesive.

Steelerubber.com has it, but I've never ordered or tried it. Just merely noticed it.

Unless this is a all parts matching type car you probably could just get a universal trunk seal kit at the local parts house, I doubt that it is that special of a part.....Tedd

Thanks for the advice. I am for sure gonna check that site. And though it isn't that special of a part, none of my local parts shops between Southeast Kansas and Fort Worth Texas have one they suggest lol. Oh and the tip on the adhesive remover and adhesive thanks!! Pretty sure I will have more questions about more parts later on.
