Cool 77 Cutlass Ignition Switch

Anybody have a diagram or installtion instructions to replace the ignition switch on 1977 Cutlass? I haven't looked at it yet, is it on the column under dash, or do I need to pull the steering wheel? Thanks guys!

I believe that the '77s are still the same as the '69-and-up years.
You have to drop the column (remove under dash trim piece, remove nuts holding column to dash support), then get up above it, just behind the pedal hanger, and you will find the ignition switch screwed to the top of the column.

Remove plugs, unscrew, replace (make sure actuating rod is in the right place), plug in plugs, reattach column.
