do a search for "Citcapp" '57 Olds. He did a 455 swap in his '57 which is almost the same frame.

I'm not at all familiar with this swap, but was just wondering if using a '65-70 S manifold would help gain some clearance?

How about the 1964-67 power steering pump? It mounts up high and will probably avoid the steering box. Here's some pictures, the top one is on a 1967 Toronado 425 and the bottom two are on a 1966 Cutlass 330. If you want to go this route I've got some extras of these, but to save on shipping you might create a parts wanted thread with your location. Then see if someone close by has what you need. John

I just read back through your post and found that the exhaust manifolds is hitting. I was thinking the power steering pump was the issue. Sorry.

You need to move the 455 off center to the passenger side of the car. The best fit for the cast iron header is the w/z cast iron header setup. You can get repo's from http://thorntonmusclecars.com/produc...aust-manifolds. I did the same conversion on a 57 Olds. Your power steering unit is a little larger. I had to move the engine as shown on the this diagram. you might have to move just a bit more. If you want more information send me a pm
