Hello from Austin TX. I picked up this 49 at Mecum Dallas a few months ago. It’s got a Cadillac 472 and TH400, nice interior & trunk, and so thankful all the chrome and stainless is in great shape, cause it's got plenty. Currently running dropped uprights & Jamco 3” drop rear springs. Got a few things planned for it such as wheels & tires, AC, power steering, air ride, engine dress up, but mostly just enjoying driving it right now.
That is a sweet car. With the exception of the red steering wheel, I like it just like it is. Somebody put a late 50 one piece windshield in it which is a nice improvement. NTOC is planning a Zone Show in the fall (probably October) and we would love to see you. Enjoy your car.
Super Super nice looking car. I hope it is actually as nice as it looks. The Cadillac engine is very era correct. I personally dig the red steering wheel. With the tan interior and the green exterior it so fits. Beautiful car. Enjoy it.

Post #5 was not removed. Not liking something doesn't mean there is anything wrong with it. It is just a matter of taste. That is why cars come in different colors.
