Welcome to the site. About changing the configuration? May I suggest just finding a project car that's already configured that way? You'd also have to change the seat tracks (which are welded in), seats, add center seat belt/anchors, carpet, speedo, steering column, trans shift linkages to name a few things. A lot of work for a car that already is fantastic as a bucket seat car.

Thanks everyone,
Haven't got a vehicle yet, still looking for the right 68 Cutlass. Call me crazy (many have) but I prefer the bench seat, just seems they are not too many out there. At any rate, great info on this site.
