There is another slight snag here.
Some 307's have smaller balancers than all the previous SBO motors.
The vin 9 motors used the bigger 350 balancer, and the Y motor balancers are small and wimpy like hockey pucks. Probably only 5" wide.

If you try and put a vin Y tab on a 350, you will have to notch the bolt hole to raise it up high enough to clear.

John, that air cleaner housing looks great! It is amazing what a little bit of sand paper, and rattle can paint can do!

I had it blasted first, used self etching primer and Olds gold. It turned out nice. The pic doesn't do it justice.

yes it would turned that way. i ask some Buick repair questions to a source and they told me that it would be better if you still have the extra odometer, could be too many did the same thing.
