Nice, welcome aboard.

There are several members on this site that have one. As well as many members well versed on them like us 68-69 C/S guys. As a Rallye was essentially a Supreme in S clothing. Lastly you are one of the lucky ones whose model was well covered by the best publications of the time.

More like an "S" with the otherwise optional 310HP 4-bbl high compression 350 as standard equipment (not to mention that unlike the '68-'69s, the 'fast-back "S" body was never offered in C/S trim in '70). Also, a '70 C/S did not necessarily come with only the 310HP 350, the 2-bbl 250HP 350 was a cost-credit option.

Pictures would be great.
Is it a post coupe? I kind of wish mine was…. Not that I’m restoring it anytime soon.

Yes, but the 68/69 Supremes came standard option 310 hp 350 and Jetaway then Th350, when automatic.
As you know standard option for the 68/69 S was 250 hp 350 and Jetaway, when automatic.

And even though there were several similar and identical power package options available on both models, as I mentioned above is what you usually come across. Personally I have never known of an original 69 S that was 310 hp Th350 even though I'm sure there were some ordered that way. At the same time I have never known of an original 69 Supreme 2bbl Jetaway. I side with the rule not the exception in this department.

Let's set the record straight about the Rallye 350 cars. These were simply F85s or Cutlass S cars with a number of mandatory options (and yes, that's an oxymoron). The W45 package only included the Sebring Yellow paint, urethane bumpers, painted SSII wheels without trim rings, G70x14 tires, and the decals. Everything else was straight off the A-body order form. As others have noted, every single Rallye came with the RPO L74 310 HP 350 motor. This motor was optionally available in any 1970 F85, Cutlass, or Cutlass S. It was standard equipment in the Supreme. Note, by the way, that if you ordered W45 on an F85, it came with Cutlass emblems on the fenders.

I thought Rallye 350s were '70s. Actually, (at least in '68) the standard engine on a Cutlass was the 155 HP L6 or the 250 HP V8, depending on whether it was a "V8" (36xx) or "L6" (35xx) model. I've seen "S"s with L6s (there was a 'vert for sale on here not that long ago equipped as such). The 310 HP V8 was optional on all V8 Cutlass models (36xx). It seems the "S" option was merely a "442-ish appearance" package on the Cutlass models (hard for me to confirm since the '68 Models / Equipment / Prices sheet I have doesn't mention an "S" variant. Whereas the '68 C/S had its own page showing the 310 HP V8 as standard and the 250 HP V8 as a cost-credit option.

FWIW, my '70 C/S 'vert had the 2bbl 250HP V8. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I'll side with what the factory offered instead of what might have been built and observed in the wild.
