1969 Olds Delta 88
the speedometer on my car is not working. It stopped when my static collector was removed. i thought the speedo cable led to the transmission? any help is greatly appreciated.

very well possible. it did stop working when i was having brake issues. it was a little stagnat ended up swapping the drum brakes out and converted over to disc. I will have to check that out.
