hang in there as someone should be able to let you know the correct location for the emblems. jamesbo comes to mind but there are others who should at least have 69 442's and post pics or give measurements.

Check this thread. We had a fender portion and templet that one of the guys made from it passing around. Contact them to see if one of them has it. John
