1969 Cutlass trim tag help.
Hello all. I've just acquired this 69 Cutlass as I've described in my introduction thread. As suggested I am now posting the trim tag here to see what light can be shed on this cars origin, etc.
I have only been on here briefly so I haven't discovered if there is already a definitive trim tag page. Any opinions or information on this trim tag will be most helpful. Thanks to any and all help in advance.
p.s. At this point I believe this to be an Oshawa built car and red wasn't the original color. Some of the interior has been painted black and some portions are missing. It appears that the dash was originally gold and the seats are white but I don't know if the seats are original to the car.
p.p.s. I know the build sheet would tell all. Where would it likely be found if present.... under the back seat or?

I'll start but the paint codes are a puzzler for me. I hope someone else can figure out that one!
ST 69 = style/model year = 1969
33687: 3 = GM division = Oldsmobile; 36 = model series = Cutlass V8; 87 = body type = holiday coupe
OS = assembly plant = Oshawa
546595 BDY = Fisher body number (has no relationship to the VIN)
TR 934 = interior color and front seat type = gold interior with bucket seats
61 61 65 PNT should be the lower and upper body colors. There are usually only two numbers or a number and a letter here to indicate the lower body color and the upper body color or vinyl top color, so I'm not sure exactly how the 3 numbers play out. 61 is the color sable and 65 is the color topaz for the '69 model year.
3D = time build code = March (3), fourth week of that month (D), 1969
A51 = option code = bucket seats
C60 = option code = air conditioning
M38 = option code = turbo hydramatic 350 transmission
Hope someone else knows what the 3 paint codes mean!
Randy C.

I have seen some references where a 3rd paint code is the wheel color but I have only seen that on Chevy's thus far. I suppose that the wheel color could be the body color but topaz against sable? Probably not unless there are different wheel paint codes like 65=Black for the third paint code. I am curious to see what it is because I am still working on getting information on Canadian builds.

Thank you both for your help and input. From what I've seen on my car so far it looks like the main body was Sable. Any spots I've found not covered in red looks pretty dark. I'll share anything I find along the way.
