Hi everyone, I just bought a 1969 oldsmobile 442 convertible which needs a bit of work, I am not an expert about cars so i'll definitely need some help I am now trying to find the headers that would fit, it has a stock exhaust I suppose to would the 2.5" collector be good for it ?

Welcome. Pretty much all headers will come with 3" collectors and a set of reducers to neck down to 2.5".

 

so the 2.5" would fit ? I mean could the stock exhaust be smaller than that ? lol

 

Most headers come with a collector reducer that should adapt down to whatever exhaust is currently on your car.

BTW, welcome, post some pictures when you get a chance.
