1964 Olds F-85 w/6200 miles on it
New to the forum, not new to cars!
I found this 64 F-85 on a car lot in central Texas back in July 2011. It was originally a barn find the car dealer found in N. Carolina about 10 years ago. He did all the replacement of belts, hoses, carb, and all brakes w/new master cylinder. Tires had been flat so long one rim had rusted through. It only had 5700 miles on it back then, but still smells like new inside. It has no A/C, so I wasn't going to look at it, but was finally convinced to take it for a test drive. With the 330cu in engine and Jetaway 2-speed trans, it was hard to keep the wheels from spinning as I drove it off the lot. (Got pulled over for doing 110mph last year on a back road). Has Texas Antique plates, so I rarely drive it any more, but it will hit 6200 miles in less than 20 miles. Have the original bill of sale dated 30 Oct 1963 from a dealer in Brunswick, Maryland. The AM radio plays fine, and the cigar lighter works, PS, PB, automatic trans, 330 V-8 engine and full wheel hubcaps are all the items on it. Older repaint beginning to showing its age, but it still gets lots of 'thumbs-up' in parades.

But... but... Sedans ain't supposed to behave like that!
Beautiful car in a great color. 64 is still the best looking of the breed to my eyes.
