doing a frame off on a 67 cutlass that came with a 455. the engine sits to high in the frame and air cleaner clearence is an issue what frame mounts/ engine mounts should I use it currently has 330 mounts and i understand the 455 is a taller block im sure someone else has run into this

 

A big block does sit high in that car. If you had a stock air cleaner it sits way low on the intake. That is what it takes to make it fit. If you use an aftermarket intake it will sit too high and hit the hood.

 

I use something similar to this however I have a BBC in mine. This will work on a rochester or a holley, not on an edelbrock carb.
