66 and 67 0.921 lifter interchange years

Does the 0.921 lifters from 57-64 engines fit the 66 and 67 E block 400 in the 442? Same size, hydraulic, but the working height and all?

I believe the early lifters have a different bleed hole/oil groove location than the later .921 lifters. If they are the same the part# would be the same.

The STOCK .921 lifters from 57 thru 64 did not supply oil to the pushrods. And cannot be used in 65 thru 67 engines.
The 65 thru 67 lifters provide oil through the holes in the pushrods to the rockers. All replacement lifters made today are the 65 thru 67 type.
The 65 thru 67 lifters will work in a 57 thru 64 engine, although the pushrod oil feed is blocked by the solid push rod end and is not used.
