Recommendations on a cam size

Hello folks, I have a 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S with a stock 1969 Toronado 455. It has a few bolt on's in the form of a 750 Holley, Edelbrock torker intake, hedders, dual 2 1/2" flowmaster exhaust. The transmission is automatic and is built strong. I am tearing it apart to replace all the gaskets and I'm wondering if while I have the timing cover off if a camshaft swap would be good. I would be replacing the lifters and pushrods to match what I decide to go with. Cam sizing has always been something I should've studied more but didn't. My question is what duration size? Roller or hydraulic? I'm ok changing rockers if needed. I want it to be drivable with the family but add a little bump to it along with performance. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your time. My name's Henry.

Questions that need answering

What gears in diff?

What rear tire size?

What converter?

How do you plan on using the car?

Answer all of these questions before choosing a cam if you want a balanced drivetrain.

Good questions.
OP - you can have a roller and it'll still be hyd. More changes would need to come with that however. Also what lifter size etc. You'll need to make a few decisions and observations before you can move forward.
