Know of a 70 442 W30 that is totally rotten/rusted. Only a few salvageable parts.


What would something like this be worth ? I know anything can be restored.

 

If it is that bad it is only worth the usable parts. Can't say what it is worth without knowing what parts are there. If the F heads are there they are $3000, original intake around $1000. if it is the original carburetor it is around $1000 plus for a good core, Sport mirrors are $150 to $350. Lots of the W-30 parts are very valuable but often missing. You will have to figure out how much of the parts are original W-30 parts and the condition of them. Check the rear end, if it is the aluminum W-27 housing it is worth $8000 to $12,000 alone. If none of the above parts are there then it will be worth scrap price, possibly a little more because there is usually something that can be saved.
