If you dont know there are a million different after market third brake light options available.
I think it would be easier to mount one in the rear window.
I have seen newer cars w one in the spoiler, if thats what you really want VS "just:" the increased visibility of the third brake light.you may find one of the surface mounted led options
less stress than modifying the rear spoiler.
