Allan,

She looks great! Congrats on finally getting paint on her. Keep the pics coming on the progress. You'll be out cruising in the "most prettiest one" real soon.

I can't wait to cruise, now I won't have to lobby the club that runs the cruise-in for a primer gray Vister Cruiser night.
I keep forgetting I have my convertible, it's boring now..
One car is topless and the other has a see-through top.

I'm an old school hammer and nails guy but I gots nailers. The Vista would look like a Hindu bed inside the panels if I put real wood on it, there's always Liquid Nails too.
Rust is a bad enough problem around here, who wants a car that can eaten by termites too?

Hey Erik, I'll be glad to advertise, charge it to public relations.
I'll talk to the painter dude and see what clear it is.
Cool to have paint that could have been used to do camo on Focke-Wulfs.
Schickelgrubber was a paper hanger, I wouldn't of let him do my woodgrain though..

Hey Blue, gorgeous cruiser! It's deja vu for me. I remember finally getting my 68 Vista from the body shop after 6 months, waiting for warm weather and then putting back all the chrome and trim - what are there 110 pieces of chrome trim?!

Feel the wrath of Sandy.

It will be a bit before the woodgrain, I'm still building up my courage.
Like it to be warmer outside so I don't have to keep the heat up in the garage, the body and vinyl need to be at least 65 degrees.

I did get the interior all back together except for the door panels today, put the window fuzzies back on.
I never counted all the trim but 110 pieces wouldn't surprise me a bit, the footage of all that trim is the killer when your knocking out dings and buffing and polishing it though.
The paint guy called today and wants before and after pics for his new website, he can take credit for the paint but I hope he credits me for the body.
