Spark Plug Wire Looms/Retainer Ideas Needed

I am restoring a 1971 Olds 442 and would like to find some nice custom spark plug wire looms that will tuck the wires around the side and bottom of the valve covers. I've searched the Internet but am not finding what I want. There is a member of this forum that has something similar to what I'm looking for. I like that fact that they are more vertical rather than horizontal which will allow me room on the driver's side with the steering shaft. Anxious to see what ideas others have and used on their cars.... Here is a pic that he posted:

Thanks!

You can get spark plug wire looms at Summit or Jegs in any style you want. You can even make your own for less than a dollar using zip ties.

I prefer the plastic separators, but I've used the screw down style with two halves before:

R&M Specialties makes the ones pictures above. They have bothe horizontal and vertical mounted styles. The vertical is what you have above and I run the horizontal ones.

Yeah the bs ones are not cheap. I forgot whose engine it is but i liked the way the wires looked so i saved the pic. My engine just has the typical plastic wire loom seperates and looks like crap, thats why i saved that pic...inspiration for mine.

Well that's the good thing about forums like this, visiting car shows, and etc....it provides more ideas and inspiration for us on our cars.

Not as pretty layout as the ones above. Not a big fan of wires touching metal or themselves. Old school auto shop class, we saw voltage leaking to ground where wires touch metal And get them away from the heat. Maybe wires are made better today?
