Repro floor pan questions

The pans are for a 71 442.

I looked at several repro ones and they all look like the fronts extend up the firewall several inches. Is that the case or do they fit closer to the factory welds.

Also what vendors does everyone recommend? I have found decent ones from Tamarez on eBay and opgi. Is one better than the other or are they pretty much the same.

I would go with the goodmark"s i bought mine from summit racing the fit awesome. It's been a while but i remember up top they had no flange lip so you either cut it and flange it yourself and weld it in where you want it to be. I used the good mark on dr. side and tamarz/ the parts place or any other ebay vendor on the pass. side it took some work as the stamping was crooked. I welded it on the topside ad bottom side the ground down the welds and seam sealed it. Since my car was not going to be a show car i seam sealed over the welds if it was a show car i would go the route of hiding the welds or doing a little filler work/lead solder to hide the welds. I also undercoated my underbody so it hides the seam sealer lines .
