Looks good. Did you hit the master cylinder with the valve cover?

Nice Job and Pics!!!!! Seeing progress is always a good thing. Did you powder coat or paint the frame, rear end, and suspension components?

I use Por 15 on the frame and engine.

yes,I have to resand the valve cover and repaint it. The Por 15 ran. I think I put a little too much there,so I am going to pull the valve cover off and re paint it.

Gary:
What set up did you use for the front discs? We just tried to install a used set I bought on the Silver Bullet, and found out they were from a later model Cutlass, and would not work! Much frustration. Nice set up on the discs, very nice job on the paint/restoration. Keep it up.

Aron.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement,I bought that disc brake kit from Tamraz off of ebay. I had concerns about them clearing the calipers, but they did advertise that it would fit 14" SSII rims is what I do have. They were fairly easy going on since I I had pulled both upper and lower control arms and sandlblasted and painted them.and replace also the inner and outer tie rods and the ball joints. Everything fit very nicely and the calibers do clear my wheels.I didnt have to worry about messing with grit and grime which also made the transition go smoothly. The different threads that I had read here and also asked questions about help me tremendously in selecting this particular kit especially the information that I got from Joe Padavano. So far on my restoration I have used everything new(parts) reproduction, from the quarters, floor, trunk floor and I have been pleased. I had to make some modifications on the floor which I found more challenging that anything I had done.

Don't let Sandy see the pics of the engine, she'll want you to tear hers down and paint it too. That would let Bluevista off the hook.

Impressive looking project, looks like you're getting to the light at the end of the tunnel stage.
