Progress Pics

Getting my Delta painted. Went to the soda blasting place first, now it sits at the body shop.

Chrome trim along bottom of body is NOT going back on. I should be getting it back in (hopfully) two weeks
I visited it today:

OMG, look at this door!!

Ken - did not know the Delta was getting painted- nice! Besides the trim, are you going stock color, etc ?

When you fix the door ... DON'T FORGET THERE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DRAIN HOLES AT THE BOTTOM!!!

I know there is one little hole on the underside of the car, other than that, the bottom is pretty clean. Must have been coated when new.

The door is pretty bad. They found another door, but it was in worse shape than mine

Sticking with the factory color. Midnight Blue Metallic. I was thinking of doing "Luxor Blue" from the 2006 Corvette/CTS but I'm sticking with the basics

Redog, not sure if it is the same for 2-doors, but for 4-doors I think that 1980-85 b-body Buick (LeSabre?) doors have the exact same body lines as the 1980-85 Delta 88.

Don't tell anyone, but I actually have a Buick rear door on my Delta. When I was getting the bodywork and paint done on my Delta, the salvage yard I was talking with mentioned that their system showed the Buick door was a fit for my 1983 Delta 88.
