Ole Betty is getting heart surgery, wishing her well on a speedy recovery🥲

Bringing my Ole Betty back to life She has been in a coma for about 10 years after she ran hot and blew a gasket. Kids and Wife and a mortgage showed up and I let her sit..

75 Delta with a 350. We are hoping to rebuild it and do some modifications along the way to get more HP out it and more pep in her step. Replacing the heads and bore the engine, replacing the the carb are just a few are in mind

Looking for a set of cylinder heads off of a 67 to 71 olds 350

send me any suggestion on performance enhancements without breaking the 🏦

A big car, I can see why you want more than 160 hp. What octane gas are you planning on? You can use your current heads with flat top pistons, either Speedpro, DSS or the 4.065"CP piston, if the block is in really good shape. If under the bowls are opened with a cutter, your current heads will flow on par with early heads. Probably the generic 204/214 cam will be fine for a mild power boost. Also consider a 2000+ stall converter to help launch. Good luck.

I hadn’t given the octane preference much thought honestly. Sounds like using a higher octane may be helpful?

I would keep the original QuadraJet, just get it rebuilt and tuned for your new build.

I just looked back at your pics. Looks like you have a Quadrajet (4 barrel). Get that carburetor rebuilt and tuned for your application by a specialist that is familiar with Quadrajets.
