1970 442 455ci motor build;will the 4150 mondello intake fit under the ram air with a qjet carb? The 4150 is made for a holley,mondello sent me a spacer to put the qjet on but it raises the carb about 1 1/2 inches. I do not want to put it on and then the hood not close and mondello not take it back because its been installed. I have edel alum heads done by CFH and a custom build 900 cfm qjet, bottom end it equally built.????

 

I can't answer your question regarding hood clearance, but please tell me about your 900cfm Q-Jet..

 

I believe with the spacer your going to have issues.

 

I went back and found wher i bought the qjet, it is 850 cfm for 500hp mtr built by topspeed.i may sell it if i can't use the ram-air with the spacer. It is new in the box, never installed.
