Hello. Did a presentation a year or so ago. Got my cutlass in june. Its a 1972 sedan 350 2bbl.
Drove it around stock for the summer. The kids really enjoyed it. Starting to work on it this winter.
Some might like it some Will probably not. I think i will go towards a roadkill/ratty/pro-touring look. I bought some 442 wheels for it. Started to restore them the finding tires in 14inches are getting harder. I came upon a local guy selling these welds replicas. 1000$ canadian with tires.
Here is what id like to do with the car for this winter
-new tires/wheels(got them) 15x7/15x8 tires are radials t/a 215/60/15 up front and 275/60/15 at rear
-suspension refresh (in the mail). Shocks are ordered. I wanna wan how it sits with the shocks before ordering springs.
-tune up (plugs/cables/distribution/etc)
-rework the exhaust a bit , so its a bit nicer but no crazy duals. Just single with turndown tips.
-Paint. Friend of mine had a contract with the army and got some leftover matte army green. I thibk it might look decent.
Looks like a fun family project! Wait a minute, are you fantasizing building a quasai-replica four door Interceptor?? Based on your photo, it looks as though it's already been converted to right hand drive.😄

Haha had a right hand drive honda integra back in 2010. Ill stick with domestics for now
I hope you didn't have to use a bolt pattern adapter or wheel spacer. If so, I suggest removing it and ordering wheels that fit correctly. Check post #14 I made in an old thread for a story I'm sure regular members are tired of hearing.

Thabk you for sharing. I didnt have to change the bolt pattern or offset. Only the centric ring. Had lot of cars with center rings on them without problems! Its only to make sure wheel is centered it doesnt change or affect the OEM studs/nut/mounting.
