It's now a frame off!
With the A body daily driver I have decided to go from rolling resto to full frame off. With the tank out and all the body bolts I lifted the body off the frame, and rolled the frame out. Next went to removing grease and grime with the pressure washer to keep the tear down a little cleaner. Attacking exaust and brake lines rounde out the day, boxing in the rails is the next item on deck as the 425 will put down over 500 fpt. I am amazed at how much structure is lacking for the girth of these B bodies so boxing more than the frame rails may be called for, I will continue to update!

This will be a fun thread to watch. Not too many do a full frame-off on the big cars so it will be cool to see the differences from the common A-bodies.
Keep the pictures coming!
Oh - I will move this to the major projects section for you - more fitting!

While the motor is coming together I have been at work on suspension parts. After boxing in the lower control arm I cut the bottom off and added a 2" strip and welded the bottom back on, should nestle the springs nicely. I will push in Prothane bushings after powder coating.

I wanted to get a bit more drop on the front end...had planned on a drop spindle with no luck. The car will have a full air-ride setup and this will ensure a full plant in the weeds at shows...it will roll with an aggressive slightly raked stance when terrorizing the streets!
