Front coil replacements

I just received my new coil springs from rock auto today and noticed they are not flat on the top like the originals . Will I need insulators for the tops so they sit flat ? There were no insulators top or bottom on the originals.thanks .ps this is for 1972 cutlass supreme convertible

ok i went out to the garage and took the pic. they are moog 5382 they are about a half inch shorter in overall hieght .i did locate the white paint spot on them which would indicate the top of the spring(if what ive read is correct).notice the original is quite flat at the end of the coil .not sure if it makes a difference when seating the new coil

Some info I archived yeas ago from the Moog coil spring catalog shows those are the correct springs:

MOOG #5382
72 with A/C and 350 4bbl
free height = 16.724"
load height = 11.000"
load = 2066 pounds
load rate per inch = 360 pounds

As the others stated those are the correct spring. There is an alignment hole in the lower control arm.
